We thought since her little feet are always up and she has a handy bar, that we would teach her early to.."make the best of what you have". She really loved it.

Gracie July 29, 2009 Josie is finally done with the castings, and got fitted for braces. It was a very, very hard day and night. She cried...I cried. We kept everyone up (we had a hotel room). She finally feel asleep about 5:00 am and when she woke at 7:30 (the BEST 2 1/2 hours ever!) she was herself again. She was happy and content, and has been since. She has to wear her braces 23 hours a day. She has an hour for some kicking and a bath. She does prefer to have them on, though. She never makes the full hour. She gets a bit fussy-until I put them on again.
...while in Utah we spent some time with Timari...LOVED IT!! She took some great pictures of the kids for me. Thanks, Sweetie. I miss you.
July 31, 2009 Nels and I celebrated our 20th anniversary. :) Wow! How grateful I am to be married to my best friend.
Now..Aug seems to be flying by and Josie seems to be getting bigger everyday. That makes me sad.

I need to back up a bit and wish Brogan a very Happy 13th Birthday (June 19).13 things I love about you
1. You are incredibly sweet. I know, I know, that's not what a 13 year old wants to hear...but you are.
2. I love your smile and the fact that you have to work so hard to make a frown.
3. I love the way you love and take care of your brother and sisters, especially the love you have for Josie. She loves you so much.
4. You are very generous. I LOVE how you make sure that I have had something to eat before you get seconds, or how you offer me everything you have.

Build it...and the flowers will grow
Have I mentioned how wonderfully talented my husband is? He is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Right before the 4th of July he decided to make hanging baskets to sell. Brilliant!! I took this picture from the window because I love to watch him build things. :)

Every week when I travel to SLC for Josie's foot Timari, and Aunt Amy also make their way down. Timari drives from Logan and Amy drives from Orem. It has been so nice to spend time with them. It is also so neat that Timari is able to get to know her baby sister on a weekly basis.
