Jalia and Napoleon

Jalia and her sheep. You might not beable to tell-but Napoleon is right in the middle of a jump. Jalia just grins.

Exhausted..after only 1/2 a day at fair

REALLY!! Who let me sign up my kids for 4-H, again. I am considering paying them to NOT do it next year. :)
We took Brogan's pig, Penelope, in this morning. She weighed in at 274. She is a sweet pig, except for this morning. Isn't that how it goes? She loves to have company, and to have her tummy rubbed (part dog...I think). I was really going to be sad to see Brogan sell her. BUT...after knocking me over, while we were trying to load her I am ready to say my good-byes.
We managed to finally get her loaded and get her to fair. I then (with Brogan's help) had to shave/trim and bathe her. CRAZY!
We came home for a bit to get Jalia's lamb, Napoleon Dynomite (key word...dynomite!) and take him to the fair. I hope it goes better.
Brogan and Carter crashed on the couch and it has only been 1/2 a day at fair. It's going to be a long week.
Wish me luck.

Brogan has turned 12 and is now a Deacon. One of the things he is able to do is pass the Sacrament. What an honor. He did a great job on Sunday.

Happy 7th Little Miss Meg

Megan turns 7 on July 22. She will be spending the day with her family, so we had a little birthday party today. She is a sweet blessing to me.
She worked her way into my heart the very first day she looked at me with those big brown eyes. She was 6 weeks old, then. She was bald and beautiful. She keeps me smiling and laughing with all the stories she shares with me.
She is a music lover, a kitten, and dog (daisy to be exact) lover, a movie watcher, a movie reciter, mud pie maker, loves to have her toe nails painted (especially by her Dad), sing out loud, do dishes (not kidding), play with her hair, laugh at everything little girl. What a JOY!!
I love you. Happy Birhtday my little Miss Meg.

Fast trip to see Grandma Ruth

Enjoying Grandma Ruth's swing.

Megan and Gracie

All smiles while playing together....not always the case, though. Gracie does often get swallowed up by the "grumpy bug" and it takes some work to shake it out of her (Kelsey holds her upside down and shakes them out :) )...but Megan is so good to her and takes care of her just like a little Mommy would.

4th of July 2006

I just had to post this picture of the boys in 2006.
The haven't changed too much..just bigger.

More 4th of July Hats

Adorable!
Thanks Sissy.

Kissin Cousins

Look what Brogan found when he peeked into the tent to take a picture.

Happy 4th of July

Aunt Sissy brought all the things to make a 4th of July hat.
The kids made them right before we went back to Melba
for the "Chicken Run". They were so proud of their hats.
