Josie is 11 weeks old

My sweet little "jitterbug" is 11 weeks old. Can you believe it? Don't you just love her wild hair, her blue eyes, her button nose, and her tiny little lips? Ahhhhh.....I do and I am in love.

Back Up....

I need to back up a bit and wish Brogan a very Happy 13th Birthday (June 19).

13 things I love about you

1. You are incredibly sweet. I know, I know, that's not what a 13 year old wants to hear...but you are.

2. I love your smile and the fact that you have to work so hard to make a frown.

3. I love the way you love and take care of your brother and sisters, especially the love you have for Josie. She loves you so much.

4. You are very generous. I LOVE how you make sure that I have had something to eat before you get seconds, or how you offer me everything you have.

5. You are a good friend to everyone.

6. You give great hugs...I'd like a few more, though. :)

7. I love that you can spit out misc. facts about any and everything. (a lot like your Dad)

8. You make me laugh when you work so hard at annoying me, (like its a goal)..it hasn't worked yet though, has it?

9. I adore how you think of others feelings first.

11. I love that you are so willing to help others.

Have I mentioned how wonderfully talented my husband is? He is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Right before the 4th of July he decided to make hanging baskets to sell. Brilliant!! I took this picture from the window because I love to watch him build things. :)

Every week when I travel to SLC for Josie's foot Timari, and Aunt Amy also make their way down. Timari drives from Logan and Amy drives from Orem. It has been so nice to spend time with them. It is also so neat that Timari is able to get to know her baby sister on a weekly basis.

Josie's recent visit to Shriners

Josie's is doing very well. She will get another cast next week and then surgery the following week. After surgery she will wear a cast for 3 weeks and if all goes well she will move on into braces.

This is what her foot looks like now.

She gets to take a bath after they take the cast off, and before they put on the new one. She has come to LOVE them.

Her hair is curly when it is wet...very straight, and sticking up everywhere when it is dry.

Josie's foot is doing amazing. We love Shriners and feel so blessed. They will do a few more castings and will decide for sure about surgery, then she will be fitted for braces.

Our Trip to Logan

We went to Logan for Mothers Day. It was a fantastic day and
Timari was finally able to meet Josie.

Josie's 1st Cast

We went to the orthoapedic doc on thursday and they put Josie's first cast on. She will go back every week for a new cast until they get her foot turned. When her foot is finally turned she will wear a brace. She is doing great.

Grace being a fantastic big sister

I love this picture of Grace. Josie was a bit fussy and Grace popped her finger in her mouth without a second thought and without missing a minute of Word World, one of her favorite shows. It worked!! Josie was happy a fell back to sleep. I thought it was so funny.
